Frequently asked questions

Before you create an account

Does Lettershape connect directly to my email service?

No. You download or copy the email, then import or paste it into your sending tool yourself. Your subscriber list and sending account stay in that tool.

Can I use Gmail or Outlook?

Yes. Open Export email and choose Gmail or Outlook for formatted-copy instructions. After pasting, send a test to check that the images, spacing, and links appear as expected.

Are unsubscribe links added automatically?

No. Add your business details and the unsubscribe link required by your sending service. That service handles unsubscribe requests.

Can I use other email services?

You can import the HTML into services that accept custom HTML emails. Check their import instructions and plan requirements first. Add their subscriber-name fields and footer links, then test the received email.
