Product roadmap

What we plan to add to Lettershape.

See planned changes to the editor, templates, and AI tools, plus connections to other apps. Release dates and detailed feature lists are not set yet.

Updated September 10, 2026Choose a plan based on the features available today. The additions below are still planned.

  1. AI tools

Improvements to AI text and images

Today, AI generates text and images for individual sections. We are reviewing what it should help with next; specific additions are still to be decided.

    Planned

  2. Template library

    More email templates

We plan to add designs for more industries and types of email. Send us an example of an email you need if the current collection does not cover it.

    Planned

  3. Editor

Improvements to text and layout editing

We plan to improve text editing and how you arrange sections. Tell us which controls are slowing you down.

    Planned

  4. Planned integration

A ChatGPT connection for email creation

The planned connection would let you ask ChatGPT to help create an email in Lettershape. Supported actions are still to be decided.

    Planned

  5. Planned developer tools

Connect other AI assistants to Lettershape

We plan to support MCP, a standard that lets AI assistants use other apps. The Lettershape actions those assistants could perform are still to be decided.

    Planned

  6. Planned developer tools

Export emails from your own software

A planned export API would let developers request an email export from their own application, without opening the Lettershape editor.
